Is Australia's Drinking Age About to Change?

Australia has been undergoing a wave of alcohol fueled violence. In response to this an effort to raise the drinking age from 18 to 21 years of age is under way. Does anyone think raising the drinking age is the way to go to reduce alcohol fueled violence?
